SET UP
Have players line-up in opposite corners below the hash marks. Put 2 bundles of pucks in each corner. X1 and X3 start the drill without the puck. The drill is run simultaneously out of the 2 corners. Goalies are in the net ready for a shot from the slot.
DRILL STEPs
X1 (and X3) starts the drill by skating around the top half of the face-off circle. X2 makes a short pass to X1 (X4 does the same to X3). X1 (and X3) takes a shot on net. After the shot X1 (and X3) skates into the corner around the bottom of the other face-off circle. X2 (X4 does the same to X3) makes a long pass to X1. X1 (and X3) skates with the puck along the boards and takes a long shot from the blueline.
