Quick Fire 1-1 Drill

SET UP

Forwards start in the 2 corners at one end. Defensemen are placed in the centre face-off circle. They move to the blueline when it is their turn.

F1 starts the drill with a pass to D1, then skates towards the net to create a screen. D1 shoots the puck from the point. The drill continues with F1 starting to break out wide while receiving a pass from F2. F1 then continues down the wing and goes 1 on 1 against D1. F2 then continues the drill and makes a pass to D2 and skates to the net to create a screen. D2 receives the pass and shoots. F2 skates towards F3, gets a pass and goes 1 on 1 against D2. The drill is repeated alternating sides.

After completing each turn players come down the side of the boards opposite to the 1 on 1.
